- Telephone /email CBT ( see Living Life To The Full)
Sessions last around 50 ( to 60 mins). Evidence has shown that CBT is most effective if sessions are weekly, especially the first couple of sessions, but this can be negotiated during our first session.
I charge £50 (concession-students/unemplyed/OAP),£55 all others usually paid by cheque or cash at the start or end of the session.I'm afraid I dont accept cards.
You can pay by direct bank transfer, but if you do I would ask that you pay for 2-3 sessions upfront. Thanks
I supervise trainees in the Certificate and Diploma courses at Dundee and Queen Margaret Universities and have done so for 10 years, regulary attending their training events/workshops and development meetings, along with contributing to their teaching programmes. I also supervise students training to become Counselling Psychologists, from Strathclyde University.
I offer individual supervision (£45 per hour/£60 for 90 mins) to both trainees and qualified Practioners, or if you can get together with your colleagues to form a small group (you can split the costs!).
Referrals can be from a variety of sources:
· Self referral

· Healthcare Insurers like AXA/PPP, CIGNA, etc.
· Employers/Employee Assisted Programmes
I offer a brief consultation by telephone or email to establish an understanding of the presenting problems. During this time we can discuss any questions or concerns you may have. If you would rather meet first to discuss anything, I can offer a (free) 20-30 mins face to face consultation (please contact me to arrange).I wont go into great personnal details at this meeting-but you may want to just say "hi" and see where I practice-sometimes this can help you "choose" a therapist
Please note that a full cancellation fee will be requested if a suitable cancellation notice is not given (36-48 hours).
